What We Found in an Amazon Mystery Box: GNC & More — May 26, 2026

We cracked open a fresh Amazon Mystery Box this afternoon and pulled 170 items with a combined retail value just over $1,030. Some genuinely useful stuff in here, a few wild card quantities, and one category that made us laugh out loud.

The Star of the Box: GNC AMP Wheybolic Protein Powder + a 22-Piece Socket Set

Leading the value charge was a sealed canister of GNC AMP Wheybolic Clinically Proven Protein Powder, 40g Whey Protein, BCAA, Leucine, Increases Muscle Strength, Muscle Building, 3rd Party Tested, Gluten Free, Natural Chocolate, 25 Servings — $69.99 retail, brand new, never opened. Right alongside it, a SEKETMAN 22PCS 1/2 Drive Shallow Impact Socket Set with extension bar, universal joint, and ratchet handle for $35.00 retail. Two completely unrelated items that somehow both slap.

Then things got interesting. Eleven — yes, eleven — Mommy's Bliss Gripe Water Original & Night Time Combo Packs at $29.99 each. That's nearly $330 in one product alone. If you've got a baby in the house, we've got you covered multiple times over.

The box also turned up a set of Posh Setting Royal Collection White Plastic Plates with Silver & Royal Blue Design — 40 total plates, dinner and salad sizes — plus a bag of Molly's Suds Laundry Detergent Powder and two Febreze Plug Scent Booster Starter Kits in Downy Calm. Practical, unglamorous, genuinely useful.

Now, the wildcard: thirty-seven packs of Oxford Ruled Index Cards, 3x5, White, 100/Pack. That is 3,700 index cards. We're not sure what to say except they're here, they're $4.99 a pack, and your study game could be undefeated. Also in the mix: three Milk-Bone Mini Comfort Chews Dog Treats, a pack of Bounty Napkins (200ct), and five cans of StarKist Solid White Albacore Tuna in Water. Plus sixty-six — sixty-six — Lilo & Stitch items that are already flying off the shelf here in Hot Springs.
